FAQ
Where do I park?
We do have a parking lot for The Nest (our building), but here’s the golden rule: do not park in the law office spots unless you want an unplanned trip to the tow yard.
Free street parking can be found on Robin St. or Quail St., and the church across the street often has open spaces.
Feeling fancy (or just want to be steps from the door)? There’s metered parking right in front of the coffee shop and the mini-golf bar, Birdie Town.
Should I wash my hair before I come in?
The sweet spot to come in for your appointment is two days after you washed your hair. Its not too dirty, not to clean for when I rewash your hair or before we preform a chemical treatment. I also often cut hair dry so your hair will still be styled enough to go thru it while being able to see how you typically wear it. If you’re not sure reach out and I’ll be happy to access with you.
Can I bring a friend or child with me?
I love when my guests feel comfortable and supported, but for everyone’s safety and comfort, our styling area is reserved for guests receiving services. Due to limited space and the use of sharp tools and hot equipment, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests or children in the service area.
If your friend or child is old enough to wait on their own, they’re welcome to relax in our lobby while you enjoy your appointment. This helps ensure a safe, peaceful environment for everyone in the salon.
Do you require a deposit to book?
For longer appointments (over two hours), I ask for a deposit when booking. The deposit is applied toward your total on the day of your service.
If you need to cancel, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so we can open that time for another guest. Cancellations made within 24 hours or missed appointments mean the deposit is non-refundable, as it covers the time that was reserved for you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I gladly accept credit cards and Venmo for your convenience but cash is always appreciated and welcomed as well!
